Helen Marie Carruthers, RMP
Helen Marie has been a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist since 2003. In her previous practice in Northern Virginia, she developed a broad client base that included athletes, expectant mothers (she is certified in Pre-Natal Massage), as well as individuals with chronic tension and stress due to demanding careers.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Helen Marie was a professional ballet and musical theater dancer. This dance background has given her an added insight into the intricacies of movement and musculature especially in regards to sports and injuries.
Helen Marie incorporates a variety of techniques in order to customize each massage for the individual client's needs.
Lacie Der, LMT
Lacie is a nationally certified and MD state licensed massage therapist. At Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland, she has completed 500+ hours of hands on massage education (Swedish, Deep Tissue and Advance Massage Techniques), and demonstrated core skills and knowledge relating to massage therapy including but not limited to Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology. She likes to integrate her techinques in order to provide a massage that is tailored to her client's needs.
Before becoming a massage therapist, Lacie also served Howard County as an EMT/Firefighter. It was then that she knew what sore muscles really were! Lacie also loves to play soccer on Howard and Anne Arundel County co-ed teams. In addition to Massage Therapy, she is currently undergoing another Associates Degree related to Physical Therapy at Anne Arundel Community College.
